| So I am enjoying my second day off in a row and making cookies. I love to eat cookies, but making them is almost as much fun...the only thing that I really do not enjoy is the horrible mess that I always have to clean up. I am looking forward to this weekend when Ryan and I get to go and see my family. We were originally going to go skiing on Saturday, but with the weather I think that now all we will be doing is playing games...which to me is just as much fun...and a lot warmer.

| So I just finished my long run for the week...4 miles almost killed me. I remember the day when that was an easy day! Well things will get better soon enough. I also just finished the 3rd season of Lost...so cannot wait for that show to come back on the air. Well off to take a nap and relax around the apartment.

| Friends? I just watched a really funny movie today that made me think about all my friends that were guys. In the movie a guy had this huge crush on his "friend" that was a girl but he really wanted more. I watched the special features and it made me laugh at how many "friendship zone" stories there were. Seriously a funny movie that made me think of my old friends and hope they are all doing well.

| So how has this year started? Well I had to work and we had no power =) I have in less than 5 days in 2008 lost my keys in the snow (we still haven't found them) and lost the opal out of my ring that I have worn since I was 12! Of course I am trying to keep up running and Ryan has been super supportive. He has been training right along with me, and even told me that during the 25k that we should run together. I know that will not be easy for him...since he has such longer legs and is so much faster than me, but it really means a lot that he is so supportive. I am looking forward to a lot of things that are coming up in the new year. Ryan and I will hopefully have no more car payments soon and are looking forward to possibly skiing with my family at the beginning of February. I have also really enjoyed reading more, including the fairly controversial Golden Compass series. Ah...2008, who knows were you will take us!

| So it is my day off again and I am planning to enjoy pretty much being done with the holiday "chores" and getting excited for the holiday fun! I went out and got a few last minute things...and now I am going to finish laundry and color my hair...hey to me this is exciting stuff! Hope you all have a great Christmas!
